Definition and classification of mixed flow pump

Under the action of centrifugal force and axial force, the mixed flow pump is a kind of centrifugal pump, which belongs to a kind of centrifugal pump and axial flow pump. Mixed flow pump is a kind of "pull" type structure of the pump, in the inspection and removal of impeller and shaft seal, without the pipeline connected with the pump body apart. The pump shaft is equipped with precision machining, with thin oil lubrication bearing, shaft sleeve is arranged in the stuffing box cover. Oil bearing box, a constant level oiler to control. When the mixed flow pump impeller in the water rotation, the blades of the centrifugal force, but also has the lifting effect, the impeller rotation by the mixing of the two kinds of action, so called mixed flow pump.
Working principle of mixed flow pump:
When the prime mover drives the impeller to rotate, the action of the liquid is both centrifugal force and axial thrust, which is integrated with the centrifugal pump and axial flow pump, and the liquid is inclined to flow out of the impeller. So it is a kind of pump between the centrifugal pump and axial flow pump. Mixed flow pump than the speed higher than the centrifugal pump, lower than the axial flow pump, generally between 300-500. Its head is higher than the axial flow pump, but the flow rate is smaller than the axial flow pump, larger than the centrifugal pump.
Classification of mixed flow pumps:
1, according to the inspection and disassembly form can be divided into: can draw out type mixed flow pump and can not draw out type mixed flow pump;
2, press the water chamber type can be divided into: vane type mixed flow pump and the vortex shell type mixed flow pump;
3, according to the blade adjustment type can be divided into: fixed mixed flow pump, semi adjustable mixed flow pump and fully adjustable mixed flow pump.
